    Hrithik Roshan was born in Bombay, Maharashtra, on January 10, 1974. He is an Indian film actor who features in Hindi films. He has played numerous roles and is well-known for his dancing abilities. 

    He is one of India’s highest-paid actors, having won six Filmfares, four for Best Actor, and one for Best Debut and Best Actor (Critics). In addition, he has been featured on Forbes India’s Celebrity 100 multiple times since 2012, based on his income and popularity.

    Career

    Roshan made his screen debut as a lead actor opposite Preity Zinta in Shekhar Kapur’s canceled film Tara Rum Pum Pum. Instead, he starred in his father’s box-office success “Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai” (2000). 

    His performances in the terrorism drama Fiza in 2000 and the ensemble melodrama Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham in 2001 consolidated his reputation. Still, he was followed by a string of poorly received films.

    Films & Achievements

    Roshan’s film career started with the 2003 science fiction film Koi Mil Gaya, for which he won two Filmfare Awards; he also appeared in the sequels Krrish (2006) and Krrish 3 (2013). 

    He received rave reviews for his roles as a burglar in Dhoom 2 (2006), Mughal Emperor Akbar in Jodhaa Akbar (2008), and a person with quadriplegia in Guzaarish (2010). 

    He starred in the 2011 drama Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, in 2012 revenge film Agneepath, the 2014 action comedy Bang Bang!, the 2019 biopic Super 30, and the 2019 action thriller War, which is his highest-grossing film of all time.

    With Just Dance (2011), Roshan has also performed on stage and made his television debut. He became the highest-paid film celebrity on Indian television as a judge on the latter. In addition, he supports various humanitarian projects, endorses several brands and goods, and has his clothing line.

    Personal Life

    Roshan married Sussane Khan in a private ceremony in Banglore on December 20, 2000. Despite their religious differences – Roshan is Hindu, while Sussane is Muslim – Roshan claims to cherish her beliefs equally.

    Hrehaan and Hridhaan are the couple’s two sons. Their divorce was concluded in November 2014 after they separated in December 2013.
