    Pushpa: The Rise is a 2021 Indian Telugu action drama film written and directed by Sukumar, produced by Mythri Movie Makers in alliance with Muttamsetty Media. Previously, the film was declared to release on 13 August 2021, coinciding with the Independence Day weekend. However, in May 2021, the makers announced that the film would be published in two parts, with the first part coming on the initially considered release date while the second will be arriving in 2022.

    Story of Pushpa: The Rise 

    The film is based on red smuggling in India. In Sukumar’s most-eventual film Pushpa Mollywood star Fahadh Faasil will make his debut in Tollywood and Compete Allu Arjun. Rashmika Mandanna casts as the main leading lady role of the film. 

    The first of two visual parts delineates the rise of the coolie in the smuggling crew of red sanders, a rare wood that grows only in the Andhra Pradesh’s Seshachalam Hills. 

    Devi Shri Prasad collected the film’s score and soundtrack while the editing and cinematography were executed by Miroslaw Kuba Brozek and Karthika Srinivas–Ruben.

    Release of Pushpa: The Rise 

    The film was released in Telugu on 17 December 2021, along with dubbed versions in Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi languages. The film received mixed reviews from critics, complimenting Allu’s performance, dialogues, cinematography, action sequences, and production values but criticism for the score, lengthy runtime, and narration.
