Alan Rickman, a well-known English actor, was born in London in 1946. Alan studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. He was also well known for this voice. His unusual voice allowed him to narrate documentaries and provide the voice for animated films like "Alice in Wonderland" and "The Simpsons." 

Alan Rickman Career:

1990: In the 1990 film Quigley Down Under, Alan costarred with Tom Selleck as the Australian Elliot Marston.

1998: Alan became well-known throughout the world for his depiction of the evil Hans Gruber in the 1988 movie "Die Hard."

2002: In Noel Coward's romantic comedy Private Lives from 2002, Rickman made an appearance on stage.

Along with directing "The Winter Guest" and "A Little Chaos," he also made numerous theatre appearances.

2010: Together with Emma Thompson, Alan portrayed the title character in the 2010 BBC television production The Song of Lunch.

2011: Rickman made his Broadway debut in the new Theresa Rebeck play Seminar in November 2011 at the John Golden Theatre.

At the age of 19, Rickman met Rima Horton, whom he later married. In 2015, Rickman revealed that the couple got married secretly in New York City in 2012. The two of them shared a home from 1977 until Rickman's passing. The couple didn't have kids.

Alan Rickman Death:

Rickman passed away from pancreatic cancer in 2016. On 3 February 2016, he was cremated at West London Crematorium in Kensal Green.
