Amitabh was born in Allahabad, to Teji and Harivansh Rai Bachchan. For his performances in Bollywood films like Zanjeer, Deewaar, and Sholay, he first made headlines in the early 1970s. He was known as India's "angry young man" for these roles. He's been in more than 190 Indian films over the span of an almost five-decade career and is referred to as the Shehenshah of Bollywood.

Amitabh Bachchan, regarded as the "Shehenshah" of Bollywood, is a well-known figure in both India and the rest of the globe. He completely dominated the Indian film business in the 1970s and 1980s to the point where François Truffaut, a French filmmaker, referred to him as a "one-man industry."
