Puneeth Rajkumar, popularly known as Appu among his fans, was the megastar, playback singer, and producer in Kannada cinema. He played a lead role in more than 29 movies. Puneeth made a cameo appearance in Premada Kanike (1976) at the age of six-month. Among all his acts in cinema, Beyyada Hoovu, Eradu Nakshatragalu, and Vasantha Geetha are a few of his outstanding performances.
