Sudeepa was born on September 2, 1971, to Sanjeev Manjappa and Saroja in Shimoga, in the Shimoga district of Karnataka. The family had moved from Narasimharajapura in the Chikmagalur district to Shimoga. Sudeepa earned his bachelor's degree in industrial and production engineering in Bangalore. In under-17 cricket, he competed for the college. He has been anchoring the reality television programme Bigg Boss Kannada since 2013.
Career:
In 1997: In Thayavva, Sudeep launched his cinematic career.
Sudeepa made his television debut in the Premada Kadambari series.
In 2001: His fans gave him the nickname “Kiccha Sudeepa” because of his work in the movie “Huchcha”.
In 2006: With "My signature", Sudeepa made his directorial debut.
In 2008: Sudeepa debuted in Bollywood with Phoonk.
