Kukkiwon in South Korea gave him his fifth-degree black belt, letting him become a master in martial arts. Some of his most commercially successful flicks include Baaghi, Baaghi 2, and War.

In 2012, Sajid signed Tiger Shroff to star in the action-romantic comedy Heropanti as his debut role.
