Hansika Motwani is one of the leading Indian actresses, born on 9 August 1991. In most of her films, she appears in Tamil and Telugu. After starring in Hindi films as a child, Hansika went on to play lead roles in Telugu films, including Desamuduru (2007), Kantri (2008), and Maska (2009). In 2011, she made her debut in Tamil cinema with Mappillai. Singam II (2013), Theeya Velai Seiyyanum Kumaru (2013), and Aranmanai (2014) were several of her commercially successful Tamil films. Villain (2017) is another Malayalam film in which she has acted.

Career:

2001: Hansika made her television debut in a Shaka Laka Boom Boom series.

2007: At the age of 15, she debuted in Puri Jagannadh's Telugu film Desamuduru as a lead character

2011: Hansika's Tamil film debut was Mappillai.

In 2012: She released two films, one in Tamil and one in Telugu. As her first release, Oru Kal Oru Kannadi, a romantic comedy film directed by M. Rajesh, became an instant hit. Her performance received favorable reviews.

In 2013: Her filmography included Theeya Velai Seiyyanum Kumaru, Singam II starring Suriya, and Biriyani, in which Suriya's brother Karthi appears as Settai. Five of her films were released in 2014, including Pandavulu Pandavulu Tummeda, a comedy flick, and Power, an action masala.

In 2017: Her first release was Bogan, which received positive reviews.

In 2022: The lead role in Maha was Hansika Motwani's 50th film as an actress
