South Indian model, actress, and dancer Lavanya Tripathi usually appears in Telugu films, however she also appears in a few Tamil ones. She started modeling after winning the Miss Uttarakhand title in 2006. With Andala Rakshasi, Tripathi made her film debut, for which she was honored with the CineMAA Award for Best Female Debut.
Tripathi went to Mumbai after graduating from Marshall School in Dehradun with a degree in Economics from Rishi Dayaram National College.
