During a visit to the Museum of TV & Radio in fifth grade, Abiola Abrams decided she wanted to make movies. Others in her community praised Females Beyond Control, but her headmistress expressed extreme criticism. Although Sarah Lawrence College authorities encouraged Abiola to write and direct plays, she soon found herself directing them as well.
