Dean R. Koontz, a great writer, was born on 9th July 1945, in Everett, Pennsylvania. The college he attended and graduated from was Shippensburg State College. Following that, he worked in anti-poverty campaigns in the 1960s as a teacher. The 80's and 90's were a golden age for Dean Koontz in the genre of thrillers. Additionally, he worked as an executive producer and screenwriter for the television and film industries.
Career:
A detailed biography of Koontz was published in 1997 by psychologist Katherine Ramsland based on interviews she conducted with him and his family.
He appeared in his subsequent books with a fuller head of hair after having hair transplant surgery in the late 1990s.
In 2006, he moved to Newport Coast, California, where he lives with his wife, Gerda (Cerra).
His annual salary was $25 million in 2008, tying him with John Grisham for the sixth highest in the world.
Amazon Publishing began publishing Koontz's books in 2019. Koontz was among the company's most notable signings at the time of the announcement.
In October 2008, Koontz announced the adoption of a new dog, Anna. Trixie's grandniece Anna was revealed to him eventually.
