Meggin Patricia Cabot was born on 1st February 1967 and is an American novelist. Her best-known work, Princess Diaries, has been adapted into two Disney features. Cabot has won numerous book awards, including the New York Public Library's Books for Teen Age, the American Library Association's Quick Pick for Reluctant Readers, the Tennessee Volunteer State TASL Book Award, Book Sense Pick, Evergreen Young Adult Book Award, and the IRA/CBC Young Adult Choice. Her books have sold over 25 million copies worldwide, including some New York Times bestsellers.
