Evander Holyfield is a former professional boxer from the United States who contested between 1984 and 2011. He held the title of undefeated champion in two weight divisions during the three belt era, at cruiserweight in the late 1980s and heavyweight in the early 1990s. He is still the only boxer in history to have done so. The only four-time world heavyweight champion is Holyfield, also known as "the Real Deal," who held the truly united WBA, WBC, and IBF titles from 1990 to 1992, the WBA and IBF titles once more from 1993 to 1994, the WBA title for a 3rd time from 1996 to 1999, the IBF title for a 3rd time from 1997 to 1999, and Between 2000 and 2001, the WBA title was won for a fourth time.

In 1984: He made his professional debut at Madison Square Garden as a light heavyweight, winning in six rounds over Lionel Byarm.
In 1985: Holyfield defeated Eric Winbush in a decision after six rounds in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
In 1987: He defended his title over Henry Tillman, a gold medalist and former Olympic colleague who had defeated Mike Tyson twice as a professional.
In 1990: Seamus McDonagh was defeated by Holyfield after four rounds of combat.
In 2007: Holyfield defeated Lou Savarese by knocking the heavier and bigger fighter down twice in the fourth and ninth rounds.
