John Scott Kirby, a well-known American executive, was born in Texas. Scott, the eldest of six kids, was raised in Texas. Currently, John Scott Kirby is the CEO of United Airlines. Scott played football and baseball during high school, and he dreamed of playing in the NFL. Early in his career, Scott spent three years in The Pentagon working as a financial analyst for the US Secretary of Defense. Later, Scott worked in the travel and transportation sectors for Sabre Decision Technologies (SDT), an AMR Corporation subsidiary. Kirby is married and has three boys, Sean, James, and Logan, and four daughters, Brittany, Madison, Alexandra, and Scarlett. He contributed to Steve Bullock's 2020 presidential campaign as well as to Republican and Democratic candidates.

Career:

As president, Scott was also in charge of everyday operations, as well as marketing and sales plans.

At America West, US Airways, and American, Scott collaborated closely with the CEO of American Airlines Doug Parker.

In 2013: After American Airlines and US Airways combined, Kirby was appointed president of the airline.

In 2020: Kirby won the election to lead the Star Alliance Chief Executive Board (CEB).
