Eric Michael Swalwell was born on November 16, 1980. He is an American lawyer and politician. Swalwell's political career began at a young age. In 2010, at the age of 29, he was elected to the Dublin City Council in California, becoming the youngest person ever elected to the council. Swalwell served on the council for four years before running for Congress.
