About Amit Trivedi
Amit Trivedi is a singer, music director, and lyricist from India who is best known for his work in Hindi cinema. He began as a film composer in the 2008 Bollywood movie Aamir. He was recognized for his highly praised work in the Bollywood movie Dev.D, for which he won multiple prizes, including the 2010 National Film Award for Best Music Direction. He was born into a Gujarati family with traditional culture. As a child, his sole connection to music was devotional music and Gujarati folk songs.
At 19-20 – Amit began writing songs after joining the band "Om."
In 2008 – His brilliant soundtracks for the film "Dev.D" were released.
In 2009 – Amit composed original music for the film "Wake Up Sid," and his song "Iktara" was featured on the soundtrack.
