John Williams is an American musician born in New York City. He’s a pianist, composer, and musician who has been awarded multiple times. At 15 he had his own jazz band and played with different instruments. By 19 he made his first masterpiece, a piano sonata. Over the years of his long career, he's created music for over 100 films.
John Williams Career:
In 1974, Steven Spielberg contacted John Williams to write the score for his first feature-length picture, The Sugarland Express.
Family Plot, a 1976 Alfred Hitchcock film, included Williams' music.
Williams and Spielberg worked together on the 1981 film "Raiders of the Lost Ark."
Williams created a reorchestrated piece for the Universal Pictures logo in 2002, which transitioned to music from the film.
For the fourth film in the series, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, Williams returned to the Indiana Jones franchise in 2008.
