Bobby Brown was born on February 5, 1969, and is a singer, songwriter, and dancer. Brown and Teddy Riley are widely credited with pioneering the new jack swing. Brown started his career in 1978 with the R&B and pop group New Edition, which he left in December 1985. He grew up in Roxbury's Orchard Park Projects.His singing abilities were recognized and developed when he joined the church choir. Rick James, Michael Jackson, Marvin Gaye, and Prince are also among Brown's musical influences.
Bobby Brown Career:
• 1986: Bobby Brownsigned with the label of his former group, MCA (who had earlier promised Brown a solo contract if he left New Edition), and also with manager Steven Machat, another former member of New Edition. A debut album called King of Stage was released in 1986 by him. The album featured the ballad "Girlfriend," which became a number-one R&B hit.
• 1989: Bobby Browncontributed two songs to Ghostbusters II's soundtrack and appeared in the film as a cameo. This album's first single, "On Our Own"[18], reached number two in the charts. 
• 1990: Bobby Brownperformed "Tap Into My Heart" at the 1990 MTV Awards, but his album, Mystical Magic, was ultimately shelved for reasons unknown. 
• 2007: Bobby Brownappeared in the ITV television series 24 Hours With... in June 2007, which featured celebrity and interviewer spending 24 hours together. Jamie Campbell, the show's host, humorously joked about making "sexual moves" toward Brown, both in his professional and personal life. 
• 2021: Bobby Browncompeted as the wild card contestant "Crab" in season five of The Masked Singer in 2021. He was briefly taken to his dressing room when he became overheated and short of breath after performing Rick James' "Give It to Me Baby." Seashell was later eliminated alongside Tamera Mowry on Week 7.
