Krishnakumar Kunnath was one of the most famous playback singers in India. KK records his songs in various languages such as Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and many more. KK started his singing career by singing for advertisement jingles. The singer made his singing debut as a playback singer with A.R. Rahman's famous songs "Kalluri Saaley" and "Hello Dr." “Pal” was his debut album, and the song “Pal” and “Yaaron” became very popular and commonly used in schools Farewells and parties. He died on 31 May 2022 at the age of 53 due to Cardiac Arrest.
