Warren G was born on November 10, 1970. His genres of music include hip-hop, DJing, and producing. A hip-hop trio named 213, named after Long Beach's area code, was formed with Snoop Dogg and Nate Dogg. The 1994 duet "Regulate," a collaboration with Nate Dogg, marked his mainstream success as a pioneer of G-funk. Stepbrother of rapper Dr. Dre, he introduced Dre to Snoop Dogg, who was signed by him later.
Warren G Career:
• The trio 213 was formed in 1990 by Warren G and two of his longtime running mates, Nathaniel "Nate Dogg" Hale and Calvin "Snoop Dogg" Broadus. The G-funk sound that soon emerged in rap was influenced by 213.

• The second Warren G album, Take a Look Over Your Shoulder, released in March 1997, was certified gold in May.

• The Billboard Hot 100 topped out at No. 18 with Warren G's sixth appearance, "Nobody Does it Better,"-on Nate Dogg's overdue debut album, featuring Warren G in another duet.

• The Sniffin Griffin's BBQ line was launched by Warren G in 2019. His father, a cook in the US Navy and a barbecue enthusiast, was the inspiration for this dish.
