In 1960: He joined Indian Army as a Truck Driver and later attested as a soldier.

In 2000: Anna Hazare led a movement to enact the Right to Information Act (RTI).

In 2007: He led the movement in opposition to the production of Liquor from Food Grains.

In 2005: Anna Hazare started a hunger strike to enact a stringent anti-corruption law and power to deal with corruption in public places.

In 2015: Hazare started objection for 2 days at Jantar Mantar in the opposition of ordinance on the Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation, and Resettlement Act.
