American football player Troy Aikman, a well-known pro, was born in California. Aikman was raised in the Los Angeles suburb of Cerritos before relocating with his family to Henryetta, Oklahoma. where Troy Aikman shined in high school and was named all-state. Troy had a slight form of clubfoot at birth, which was treated surgically and by wearing casts until he was 13 months old. Troy transferred from Oklahoma to UCLA to pursue a sociology degree. Troy Aikman was selected first overall in the 1989 draught. For the reigning NFL champion Dallas Cowboys, he is currently player #8.

Career:
Troy had the most wins of any quarterback in any decade throughout the 1990s with 90.
Each year, Troy receives more than 20,000 letters from fans, some of whom have written to him every month since the Cowboys selected him almost ten years ago.
In 1998, Troy underwent surgery to have a malignant melanoma from his left shoulder blade removed.
Troy and his wife have been apart since November 2010, and they intend to get divorced in 2011, he said in a letter to The Dallas Morning News.

Aikman has three consecutive seasons of 3,000 yards rushing in 1997, making him the very first quarterback in Cowboys history to do it.
