Despite being deaf since infancy, she became a renowned stunt performer, setting world records in speed and distance on land and water. She performed dangerous stunts in films such as "Smokey and the Bandit II" and "The Blues Brothers." She was also a successful racer, competing in motocross and speedboat racing. Her achievements continue to inspire people with disabilities and women in the industry.

In the 1950s-1960s - Kitty O'Neil worked as a telephone operator, a clerk typist, and a fashion model before discovering her passion for motorsports and stunts.
1976 - She set the women's land speed record of 512 mph (824 km/h) in a rocket-powered car, becoming the fastest woman on Earth.
1979 - Kitty O'Neil performed a dangerous stunt as Wonder Woman, jumping off a 127-foot (39 m) building in downtown Indianapolis.
