Mikaela Pauline Shiffrin, born in 1995, was an American alpine skier and two-time Olympian. She is the most successful woman in World Cup skiing history. Her World Cup records include four overall victories, four world titles in slalom, and six World Cup discipline titles. In addition, she is the youngest Olympic slalom champion in alpine skiing history at 18 years and 345 days.
Mikaela Shiffrin Career:                         
The Czech Republic was Siffrin's first World Cup venue, and she made her debut in the giant slalom on March 11, 2011.
Mikaela Shiffrin World Cup: Mikaela Shiffrin won the first World Cup race at 17 in a night slalom in Re, Sweden, in December 2012.
A gold medal in giant slalom and a silver medal in combined were among the awards she took home from Pyeongchang 2018.
In 2019, Mikaela Shiffrin was named in the "Time magazine's 100 most influential people" world.
Shiffrin won her first super combined race at Crans-Montana on February 26. She now leads the overall standings after her ninth World Cup victory.
