Sheryl Denise Swoopes, a known sports woman, was born on March 25, 1971. In the past, she played professional basketball for the American national team. It is her third WNBA MVP award, and she was named one of the league's Top 15 Players of All Time. Sheryl Denise Swoopes was the first player to be signed in the WNBA, a three-time MVP, and an award winner at the WNBA All-Star Game. In addition, she is one of 11 women's basketball players who have won Olympic gold medals, NCAA championships, etc. Swoopes has won three Olympic gold medals.
Sheryl Swoopes Career:
During her senior season with Texas Tech Lady Raiders, Swoopes won the NCAA women's basketball championship.
In 2010, Swoopes was still listed in many categories in women's basketball records.
He won the Honda Sports Award, the Naismith College Player of the Year award, and the WBCA Player of the Year award in 1993.
In 1993, Swoopes was named Women's Sports Foundation Sportswoman of the Year (team category).
