American journalist and novelist David Halberstam was well-known for his in-depth reporting on politics, the economy, and sports. For his reporting on the Vietnam War, David was awarded the Pulitzer Prize. He also authored several best-selling novels, such as "The Best and the Brightest" and "The Fifties." In 2007, Halberstam perished in a motor vehicle collision.
