Emma Walton Hamilton is an American author, editor, and theater director. Emma has made significant contributions to children's literature and the performing arts. Hamilton has written over 30 children's books and co-authored several books with her mother, including "The Very Fairy Princess" series.

Emma Walton Hamilton Career:

Emma Walton Hamilton began her career as an actress but later shifted her focus to writing and directing. 

Emma founded The Bay Street Theatre in Sag Harbor, New York. She held the position of artistic director for 17 years.

She produced and directed multiple plays during her time there, some of which were world premieres.

In 2000, she and her mother started co-writing children's books, with Dumpy the Dumptruck as their first.

"Raising Bookworms: Getting Kids Reading for Pleasure and Empowerment" and the "Very Fairy Princess" series, which Hamilton co-authored with her mother, is among the many children's books Hamilton has published. 

In 2016: Together with her mother, Walton Hamilton produced the preschool television program Julie's Greenroom.

Along with contributing frequently to The Huffington Post, she also writes a column for PBS Parents.
