The 18 novels Sheldon wrote have been translated into 51 different languages and have sold more than 300 million copies. • Sidney Sheldonmoved to Hollywood in 1937, where he reviewed scripts and contributed to B movies.
• His first musicals were for the Broadway stage, and he continued to write screenplays for MGM Studios and Paramount Pictures.
• Sidney Sheldoncreated, produced, and wrote I Dream of Jeannie, starring Barbara Eden and Larry Hagman in 1965.
