Paul Daniel Frehley, popularly known as Ace Frehley, is an American musician who was the original lead guitarist and a founding member of the hard rock band Kiss. He was born in The Bronx, New York City, in 1951, and learned to play the guitar from a young age, inspired by musicians like Jimi Hendrix and Led Zeppelin. Frehley's innovative and melodic guitar playing style contributed significantly to the success of Kiss, and he is also known for inventing the persona of The Spaceman. After leaving Kiss, Frehley formed his own band, Frehley's Comet, and later pursued a successful solo career.
