Brett Charles Young, born on March 23, 1981, in Orange County, California, is a popular American country pop singer, songwriter, and guitarist. Young was a college baseball pitcher before taking up songwriting after an elbow injury. He started singing during a Christian worship meeting in high school. Brett Young has released several albums and EPs, including his self-titled debut EP produced by Dann Huff in 2016, which featured the hit singles "Sleep Without You" and "In Case You Didn't Know." He released his second major label album Ticket to L.A. in 2018 and his third album Weekends Look a Little Different These Days in 2021.
