Invincible Season 2 doesn’t miss a beat and picks up right where it left off. Mark is still in shock from discovering that his father isn’t the hero he thought he was. He’s struggling to grapple with this revelation while wrestling with his new superpowers. On top of that, he must now deal with the consequences of Omni-Man’s actions back on Earth and across the Viltrumite Empire. The Viltrumites themselves are no better off either. With Thragg being defeated, they’re left picking up the pieces of their shattered empire and trying to regain control. There’s even talk of rebellion against their tyrannical rule. Mark finds himself in the middle, deciding whether to embrace his Viltrumite heritage or side with humanity as it fights for survival in a battle that decides the universe’s fate.
