About (Profile/Biography):

John Clause, a well-known American scientist, is regarded as one of the fathers of quantum mechanics. On November 4, 1939, he was born in Washington, D.C. His creation of the Clauser-Horne-Shimony-Holt (CHSH) inequality, which is frequently used to evaluate the predictions of quantum mechanics, is only one of many significant contributions he has made to the area.

John Clauser Education:

In 1961, Clauser graduated with a physics bachelor's degree from Haverford College.

From the University of California, Berkeley, he received his PhD in physics in 1966.

John Clauser Career:

Clauser worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of California, Berkeley from 1966 to 1968 after receiving his PhD.

He started working as an assistant professor of physics at the University of California, Berkeley in 1968.

Since then, he has served as a member of the University of California, Berkeley faculty. He is currently a Professor Emeritus of Physics.

John Clauser - Discovery | Atomic Theory | Research:

His work on Bell's theorem, which demonstrates that some predictions of quantum mechanics are irreconcilable with the fundamentals of classical physics, is what made Clauser famous.

Clauser's research is primarily concerned with quantum mechanics.

John Clauser Honors and Awards:

Clauser has won various honours and prizes for his work, including the David Kay Medal for Instrumentation from the Franklin Institute, the Max Born Prize, and the Presidential Young Investigator Award from the National Science Foundation.
